Brazilian network Arte 1 gears up to launch its newest The documentary series “Artist/ Place” that will take the audience on a journey into the art world. The show portrays the intricate relationships between artists and places that had great influence over their work.

Each episode is dedicated to one artist and a specific location that has inspired his/her work in a specific moment in their career. The series premieres with an episode dedicated to Keith Haring’s relationship with a small fishing village in Brazil, where he used to spend his vacations in the 1980s, leaving a variety of art works that to this day can be found around these wild beaches. A variety of names from the world of Architecture, Painting, Fashion, Direct Theater and Dance such as Keith Haring, Tadao Ando, Yves Saint-Laurent, Georgia O'Keefe, Donald Judd and more are featured in the first season of “Artist/Place”, in a showcase of great works in places like Japan, Europe, the United States and Latin America.
